Deadline For Awards

There are just seven days remaining for nominations for The Entrepreneurial Exchange's 2008 Entrepreneur of the Year awards, sponsored by Deloitte and Business7.

The annual awards dinner, launched in 1996, is one of the highlights of the Scottish business calendar.

There will be two main awards at the ceremony; the coveted Entrepreneur of the Year title - which has been previously won by Sir Tom Hunter, Willie Haughey, John Boyle and David Milne - as well as the Emerging Entrepreneur of the Year prize.

Last year Martin Lightbody, managing director of Lightbody Celebration Cakes, was crowned Entrepreneur of the Year. This year's ceremony is being held on Thursday, November 27 at the Hilton Glasgow.
