The value of these events are that it is useful to see and hear views of others
This was an excellent networking opportunity and an opportunity to share in the experiences of some very knowledgeable individuals
The value of these dinners is by sharing experiences, good and bad
Great to hear from people who've got/had similar experiences
Great discussion
My key tip - innovate, be comfortable with risk and remember you are the one that makes it happen....a steel core of pure determination
I got a number of messages/tips and I particularly remember the neccessity of change message from Maitland and George's intro where he put things into perspective recalling a traumatic event early in his career
Key tips - no change - no chance - dont tell the competition what your doing - keep out the press - people are your real assets - your SMT impacts the multiplier - who wants to be and who should be in the winning photo?
Key tip for me - no Change, no Chance
I imagine it could be a tough shift keeping a room of entreprenuers both on topic and on time, however, Murray did this extremely well and gave all delegates an opportunity to contribute
Murray was very organised and thoughtful also made sure everyone participated - excellent!!
As ever, Murray is inclusive and ensures everyone gets a chance to contribute. Brilliant chairman
Maitland is clearly a very knowledgeable and very entertaining character
I loved Maitland's style - he gave the impression of rambling but nailed every point. Excellent
George gave a very open and honest talk and was extremely interesting
George was inspirational. I'd kill to have his EBITDA returns
I think the format for the evening is extremely good and should be largely kept as is. What also appeared to work was at the last dinner I attended where one of the speakers had to pull out - this resulted in the reamining speaker having longer to get more into the detail of the subject.
