Cost and Criteria

Please note the following guidelines:

• Membership of The Exchange is a personal membership and is not transferable
  
  
• Our Membership Committee deals with all applications in a strictly private and confidential manner
  
  
• The Entrepreneurial Exchange does not disclose details of Committee members. The Membership Committee reserves the right to refuse membership without comment - no correspondence will be entered into
  

Cost

Membership costs £445 plus VAT per annum and gives you:

• The opportunity to attend certain events free of charge
  
  
• The ability to book a place at member-only events
  
  
• Priority booking for headline events such as the Awards Dinner
  
  
• Full use of the Members Services section of this website
  
  
• Access to our online networking site ENGAGE.

Criteria

To be eligible for Membership, you must meet the following criteria:

• Your business should be committed to significant growth and have been trading for at least two years with a turnover of at least £500,000
  
  
• You must be the founding managing director, chief executive or principal of the business with a significant ownership interest. Founder directors or founding partners of businesses, other than the managing director, may be allowed membership at the discretion of the Membership Committee. However, founding partners or directors of professional advisers (lawyers/accountants and independent financial advisers) are not normally eligible for membership

We will also consider applications from the following:

• Entrepreneurs leading fully invested high growth-potential companies at an early stage where the business plan makes it clear they are committed to rapid growth
  
  
• Entrepreneurs who have been nominated to take over a qualifying business - e.g. the next generation of a family business or the nominated CEO successor

• Serial entrepreneurs who have a track record of successfully growing businesses and who may be starting again but also who may be between projects

• Corporate entrepreneurs - people in corporate roles who set the strategic direction of a business and can demonstrate entrepreneurship in their role

• Outstanding individuals with strong entrepreneurial flair subject to board discretion
