The Entrepreneurial Exchange

Bob Keiller To Hold Talks On Success

The Entrepreneurial Exchange is hosting an evening with Bob Keiller in Glasgow next month.

Since a multi-million management buyout of Aberdeen-based oil services company PSN from the Halliburton Group in 2006, Keiller has won numerous awards for the turnaround he has led.

In the past two years the company has created thousands of jobs across the world with turnover reaching £1.2billion.

Keiller will give an informal talk to Entrepreneurial Exchange members on the success of the buyout of PSN and his aspirations for the future. The Entrepreneurial Exchange is also accepting nominations for its annual awards ceremony.

Past winners of the awards, launched in 1995, include Sir Tom Hunter, City Refrigeration boss Willie Haughey, Direct Holidays founder John Boyle and David Milne of Wolfson Microelectronics.

Cake maker Martin Lightbody was crowned entrepreneur of the year last time with Ana Stewart of ATM advertising firm i-Design named emerging entrepreneur.

Nominations are open until noon on August 29 and a judging panel will decide the shortlist in early November. The winner will be announced during a ceremony at the Hilton, Glasgow, on November 27.
