The Entrepreneurial Exchange

Entrepreneurial Exchange Awards Deadline Looms

Closing date for entries

Scotland's best business minds have just over a week left to enter the Entrepreneurial Exchange awards.

Winners of the Entrepreneur of the Year and Emerging Entrepreneur of the Year will be following in the footsteps of multimillionaires such as Sir Tom Hunter, Sir Tom Farmer and Brian Souter.

The awards, in association with Deloitte and Business7, recognise those who have excelled in growing their businesses during the past 12 months.

Jim Boyle, leader of Deloitte's Scottish entrepreneurial business team and member of the judging panel, said: Scotland is fortunate to have a wealth of great entrepreneurial talent and previous entrants have illustrated this.

"Entrepreneurs in Scotland have always had a voracious appetite for growth, a passion for success and are naturally very positive about their businesses.

To harness this spirit, I would urge those who have not yet entered to do so now and celebrate their success.

John Anderson, chief executive of the Entrepreneurial Exchange, said: Whilst the economic climate continues to be challenging, we are aware from our members that there are still significant success stories to be told and want to ensure that we continue to celebrate these successes as much possible.

"I look forward to hearing these stories and working with the judging panel to decide on who are the leading entrepreneurs of 2010.

The entry form can be downloaded from www.entrepreneurial-exchange.co.uk and must be completed and returned by August 27.
