David Adams is Managing Director of Adams Consulting Group which provides Development Management Services to the Canmore Partnership and major commercial projects in the Private Sector. Following 4 years with the Government and 4 years overseas with the Aga Khan Foundation, David returned to Glasgow in 1987 and joined local surveyors Muirheads to set up a project management division (Muirheads Project Management). David led a management buy out in 1991, and built up 5 UK offices which he then sold to an outsourcing specialist CAPITA in 1999. He then co-founded the Canmore Partnership in 1996 to carry out projects under the government’s Private Finance Initiative, generating over £100m of projects before selling Canmore’s portfolio to Noble Group in 2001.
William Frame is Managing Director of Braemore Estates and Braemore Property Management (www.braemore.co.uk). After 7 years working on and off within the family business in Ayrshire, William gained experience of the real estate business in Edinburgh before branching out on his own in 1988. He founded Braemore Estates with the £18,000 equity from the sale of his first flat and has grown the company to its present portfolio of over £12 million and growing, with current developments in Scotland and London. Braemore Property Management was formed in 1992 and now employs 20 staff and manages over 700 quality properties, principally in central Edinburgh.
