The Gilchrist family has been trading in the Clyde Valley for 4 generations, first as market gardeners, then diversifying into interior and exterior landscaping before selling out to Rentokil in 1992. In 1997 Jimmy Gilchrist went back to his "roots" as managing director of GP Plantscape when he re-entered the interior and exterior landscaping market. With some 50 employees, GP Plantscape designs, installs and maintains tropical plant displays and exterior landscapes throughout the UK. A recent addition to the business is GP Artscape, which provides innovative corporate artwork for offices, hotels and other public areas

As the Managing Director and founder of Match Point, Neil has grown the company to become one of the UK’s leading providers of corporate entertainment services with an annual turnover of £5m and offices in Edinburgh, London and Sydney. His success in winning and retaining contracts can be attributed to providing high levels of service and customer care to purchasers and governing bodies. Neil too has diversified and has set up a further three service companies: Canapé – Providers of themed catering; Glory Days –Specialists in sports accommodation, travel and tickets and Small House – a Night Club
