Mark Gillanders Mark is Managing Director of Sales Evolution, a leading sales growth consultancy serving aspiring SME’s, ambitious corporate and investor-backed businesses.Mark believes that for most companies, the difference between failure and success lies in their approach to selling.  An acknowledged sales strategy innovator and thought leader, Mark has built a distinguished career in corporate sales and management over the last 15 years.  He has built successful sales systems for clients across multiple markets, focusing on accelerating their rate of revenue growth through developing and delivering sales and marketing strategies and processes, performance coaching and sales leadership.Seeing sales as more of a science than an art, his key aim is to improve the image of professional selling within the b2b marketplace, and to work with companies who see the development of their sales systems and function as the key to unlocking growth potential.  He is committed to attracting bright young talent into the profession by dispelling the damaging myth that Sales is all about being a ‘smart talker’. Mark’s experience has taught him that Sales success in the modern world is more about blending strategic and creative thinking with structure and process rigor.  Mark is deeply passionate about his area of expertise, having established himself as a freelance sales performance consultant in 2002 and, subsequently, founding Sales Evolution in 2004.
