Kirsten continues to guide The Physiotherapy Centre whilst maintaining patient contact part time. Her team of therapists who reflect standards of excellence in treatment of spinal pain, chronic pain and sporting injuries (both professional and amateur, including touring performers such as those involved stage shows like Riverdance, Les Miserables and Phantom of the Opera).

Her own past clients range from those suffering from everyday problems to Olympic athletes, European circuit golfers and star performers (Kirsten was consultant physiotherapist on 'The Jacket', a George Clooney movie shot on location in Scotland). Having a Diploma in Pianoforte she is a specialist in musicians' injuries and has lectured to professional organisations such as the British Association of Performing Arts in Medicine and other national medical and physiotherapy organisations such as PhysioFirst.

For 6 years she devoted time to scientific golf research, taking 2 full year's sabbatical. Her work in this field was devoted to both reduction of injury and performance enhancement.

Kirsten is the Physiotherapy spokesperson for the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy in Scotland and is regularly asked to comment on health issues for major newspapers and television. With her clinics running smoothly and profitably with minimal input, Kirsten has begun an ‘Internet Physiotherapy' business designed to enable a user to self-assess and treat their own musculoskeletal problem. NHS24 has expressed an interest in taking the product, once it is validated and she and her team are now working with Edinburgh Napier University to achieve this.

Kirsten is a Director and long standing Member of the Exchange. In her spare time she enjoys entertaining, holidays and loads of massages!
