David Sibbald 2000

David SibbaldDavid Sibbald is a software developer who is using his wealth to help change the world.  He built up his highly-regarded computer business, Atlantech, during the late 1990s, and sold it to Cisco Systems at the height of the stock market boom for $180 million in early 2000. 

He then travelled in Africa before starting again with Sumerian Networks, a technology business which helps large companies use existing IT more effectively. 

David's life is also taken up with the Sumerian Foundation, a charity set up himself and his wife, Catriona, a trained midwife, which is currrently building affordable homes in Kenya.
