Jack lifts skirt out of bunker to chip in for charity
Jack McConnell may feel like escaping to his bunker right now, but the under-fire First Minister may at least end the week doing his bit for charity.  After criticism over his intention to attend a golf event rather than the D-Day Landings commemoration, it has emerged Jack's other recent faux pas - the pin-striped kilt he wore for Tartan Day in the US - will be auctioned.  It will go under the hammer at the Entrepreneurial  Exchange ball at the Hilton, Glasgow, with proceeds going to Cash for Kids and the Make a Wish Foundation.
