Ross, 8, steals the show as he joins Sharleen on stage.

LITTLE Ross Moore stole the show and everyone's heart when he popped up as Elvis to dance with Texas singer Sharleen Spiteri on stage.

We can reveal Ross's big night at the Entrepreneurial Exchange Ball in Glasgow raised 655,000 for charity a Scottish record.

Eight-year-old Ross, who is battling cystic fibrosis, was a guest of the Make-A-Wish Foundation.

The organisation, which arranges special treats for seriously ill children, was one of three charities to benefit.

Ross, of Glasgow, hopped up on stage with Sharleen in front of guests including rocker Rod Stewart and his girlfriend Penny Lancaster.

Texas agreed to perform when tycoon Tom Hunter pledged 250,000 to children's hospice Rachel House at an auction hosted by movie star Ewan McGregor.

Ross's mum Alice, 38, said: 'He was tickled pink when Sharleen gave him a kiss. Ross is such an outgoing wee person it's hard to believe he is so ill.'

Make-A-Wish had given Ross a climbing frame and guests at the ball watched a video showing his delight when he discovered the playpark in his back garden.

Alice said: 'Make-A-Wish are just fantastic. They asked Ross what he would like and at first he said a hospital in the house so he wouldn't need to stay away from home all the time.

'But then he asked for a climbing frame and was over the moon when he saw the massive one the foundation built in the backyard.'
