St Andrews unveils 10,000 competition
THE University of St Andrews is to launch a GBP 10,000 competition for budding student entrepreneurs, aimed at encouraging the creation of new businesses and increasing opportunities for graduate employment. The competition - organised by the university's new Student Enterprise Office - invites students to submit a sustainable business idea for a top prize of GBP 2,000. Winning plans could be taken up by sponsor the Entrepreneurial Exchange, or may form the basis of a small business incubator at the university. Student Enterprise manager Christopher Venditozzi said: "We are challenging all students to come up with a viable and sustainable business plan, from individuals or teams."
